Small but annoying problem with WB6
Thursday, October 4, 2007 by GM1977 | Discussion:

and the effect i get

the graphic in the bottom right hand corner of the window is MIA in all of my Windowblinds skins since i upgraded to WB6
and no matter what skin i apply , the color of the window stays white , kinda ruins the effect of having a dark skin and dark backround with this gleeming white window
any ideas...??

Umm.. both windows are 255,255,255 white, Whats the difference in screenshots ?
ha ha , yeah , i was saying that no matter what skin i apply , that the window stays white , even if the skin itself is supposed to be black or dark , like the INVIpro skins

If you want darker windows open up any skin in Skinstudio and adjust the sectin Window > Color in "classic colors" section and save and apply.

Me too. White is standard.

I agree. Not to mention that many apps might, for example, use the system-defined setting for the background, but then draw their own black text. Black text on a black bg would not be very legible.

INVIpro has white windows, the "black window" you are seeing in WBconfig is only for the control panel, Explorer windows themeselve's even in the "Black" version are still white..on everyone's PC.
If you want darker windows open up any skin in Skinstudio and adjust the sectin Window > Color in "classic colors" section and save and apply.
i see , if it's meant to be white then no sweat i can live with that , i though my Windowblinds was messing up for some reason , Thanks again V
