Facebook integration

Wouldn't that be fun?

Thursday, September 27, 2007 by ZubaZ | Discussion: Virtual Communities

So there I am . . two tabs open and next to each other.  Facebook and my site on Wincustomize.  (In the background is the DX Skin checker I use.)

I'm thinking to myself . . wouldn't it be cool if I could display my gallery on my Facebook profile?  What about my favorite skins?  Oooo what about my watchlists?

Has anyone ever tackeled a Facebook app?  Is there any interest?

Hmm, that would be pretty sweet... For those that write alot of articles, it would be neat to have an RSS feed of just your articles, so that you could have it as a 'Notes' rss feed on Facebook.  Perhaps an RSS feed for your personal skins page would allow for an easier app creation...

That's a pretty awesome idea. I like it

I think FaceBook apps may be written in PHP, which I know nothing of. Wouldn't mind learning it when I get some free time though

Easy! just parse the aspx's, for example: http://cerebrojd.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?p=1

I personally like the idea... maybe a block that shows 4 skins (either last 4 featured, or 4 from a specified user).  That'd be pretty sweet, and a great way to show off skinning on Facebook.

I agree... I guess I could look into this a little.

I know some people who would get a lot of use out of such an app haha.
