LogonStudio Vista Help

help the new guy

Saturday, September 15, 2007 by stonecoldcrb | Discussion: Vista Customization

I just downloaded Logon Studio for Vista and am excited about the possibilites for the program and the wonderful screens I have gotten from the creators here.  My problem is that many of the ones I have downloaded have come in as LOGONVISTA files IE:

janedoe.logonvista

How the heck do I get them to work with the program?

Any direction would be appreciated, I cant wait to take advantage of the screens and program.

Open LogonStudio Vista, click "load" and open the file from there.  It should also work just by double-clicking.

Opening the file via the load screen gives an "unable to open...." error.

Double clicking on the file gives an "only .logon files could be loaded" error.

Oh boy, whatta I do now???

You should probably post more info about your system....Vista 32 or 64 bit, are you on a domain or not?
It's a pretty simple program...it could have to do with administrative rights on Vista or a firewall or anti-virus program not letting it install correctly.
