Folder backgrounds in VISTA

Why is there no solution to adding custom backgrounds to folders in Vista yet? It seems to be utterly impossible. Doesn't anyone care? It's an awesome feature after all.

Yes mate, I've searched. The entire internet in fact. 
It leaves me with an astounded chuckle. Microsoft has really put som sweat into hindering alteration of Vista folder esthetics. Sure, patience is golden, but I've just ran out of that quality.
