Problems with DRM?

Am I the only one here with DRM issues and Wndows Vista?
For some unknown reason my DRM is now missing. I am running Vista Home Premium 32-bit.
I have googled this problem to several other forums, and the best lead that I have gotten back is that it is the fault of a program called CCleaner. ( But I am unsure if I buy that for a reason)
I have also been told that there is no possible way to recover the DRM w/o reinstalling Vista. (which we all know would suck because it is time consuming to reinstall all of my programs and misc. files).
I have also been told to reinstall windows media player 11 for vista, but after extensive searching, I can only find a download for WMP11 for XP.
Pleeeease give me some feedback... this tends to be one of the better forums out there, of course when not joking around.

Is that really so bad?
From what I've read, DRM in Vista is not such a good thing as pertains to fair use of bought media.

Did you lose the license file for the music you have downloaded and now you can't play anything?

You should be able to reinstall Vista as an UPGRADE (yes, you are upgrading Vista to Vista) and it will keep your current settings and programs as well and replace anything missing from the OS.

Hit the windows key + R and type "sfc /scannow" Without the quotes it will then scan and replace any missing vista OS files, It will ask for your vista disk, so have it handy. It will probably also replace and files you personally have modified. I cant remember if it did that in xp or not, but I assume so.
And I thought DRM is a file/service that comes with your music that you purchase, not a actual vista file, Am I wrong?
