Problem with MPEG 2 Dream

perhaps someone can help me here, I simply finds no solution for my problem .I would like to create a Dream, but a wmv file in the Dream format comes to a hold exactly between beginning and end.The Dreamscene is to function with wmv and to MPEG 2 files nevertheless. Now I installed myself a codec Pack for Vista, a Dreamscene background in wmv provided and he jerk ELT. With the attempt run to let me the Explorer these as MPEG 2 remained completely bad hanging.
With the Dream Maker I already tried it. It converts the MPEG 2, but it does not play him. Probably however if I these as wmv into the Dream format change. In addition, jerk ELT it exactly if the end and the beginning overlap. If I open the MPEG over the Media Player, this plays me a black background off... The Media Player therefore shows no error message that it does not know the format. Provided I converted the animated background picture in the AVi format and hereby: http://media convert.com/konvertieren/ The drivers of the graphic are also the most current ones. But somewhere the error must lie nevertheless? Is MPEG 2 better than WMV?
Over assistance I would be very grateful, particularly since I do not understand it simply.
