48X48 icons in Windws XP

Wednesday, August 29, 2007 by Mike Tuma | Discussion: Icons

Does anyone know how to change the default Windows XP 32X32 icons to 48X48? I know how to change the Start Menu and Desktop, but I would like to change the Windows Folders & Files icons. Is there a registry tweak I can do? Or is the icon size hardcoded into the shell?

View -> Tiles.

Works on a per-directory setting.
