Well there is this thing we call "participation"
[Definition: take part: to take part in an event or activity]
Thus there are some members who take part in being as supportive as possible for the out come of many projects offered to members here at Wincustomize/Stardock. In doing so it helps pay the bills and make things better for those hard working developers/designers. That are constantly trying their best to give everyone here at Wincustomize the best there is...
There has been many times when WC/Stardock has needed a little help with paying the bills and has asked if members would up their subs a bit to get things going better. So we did and we continue to do so. That and I would do it again if asked too!
A while back I wanted to know if I could get a discount for uping my sub for 2 years and at the time it was a "no" answer. But soon after that there was a 20% off deal being made for just one year. Well I jumped on that... but now all I need is another year to even up my subs for WC and SDC. Which here soon I'll probably just get another year again to even things up for my subs here at Stardock. This time not even thinking of chipping in to help out with the bills ... but just to get even with my subs is all.
Truth of the matter I plan on sticking around for a longtime and if they need cash to help things work better... then I'm here to help out!
We call it "participation" They call it whatever they want too! But it helps skinners and the people that are members here at this website to get more by giving whatever is needed to get things worked out. Worked out cost money those people do not do this kind of work for nothing and heck ya - they want to make more money just like you do too!
So just think about for a while and see what comes to mind when you take a good hard look at this website and all the really good people that are members here too!

I dont like the magic skin much... Something more generic would have been nicer- something you can use every day as opposed to 'one for the kids'...

Yes, it is very special, but nevertheless a great piece of art with the unique style of Paul. I would so like to see an updated Last/Orion wb.

So let me get this right...as long as we have an updated renewal of ObjectDesktop we get the Magic skin? Mines updated till Oct of 2008...or does it have to be 2009? Can't afford to renew twice...to many medical bills at the moment.
From what I read Web, you need another years subscription.

anyone with a sub that extends past two years automatically becomes an elite user it's basicly stardock saying thanks for the support & here's a little something for you
