At Wincustomize.com most of my Wallpapers have only 2 stars (not in Public Gallery) ,
but (for example) at SkinBase this jobs was Featured Works.

That's probably because only registered users and masters (or something) can rate. I would love to rate some stuff, but can't.

Al make them and have fun to make them in doing your best
As you know the level to get a wallpaper in main gallery here is higher than on others places.
Before become Journeyman all (or closer in % hehe) my walls stayed in my personal page.
That allowed me to try to improve try after try my skills (if i have ones)
And to have fun with you to read "PPE" post (Thanks Po' )
If you want people see them simple keep make boot and logons with them and put the link to the Walls in description

From looking at your gallery, the only thing coming to mind is "joy...more Vista trendwhoring." Seriously, after a while it gets *real* old and loses any value whatsoever. So my advice is...break away from all that! Branch out, do something else, something completely different, something NOT Vista.
Try something abstract or a landscape, anything. Just leave the word "Vista" and the Windows logo far far away from it. Open your self up to other themes.

I so agree with this suggestion .... the Vista thing has been done to death now ...time to move on from it.

I was lucky to get 4 on some of my early stuff. The majority of my walls are at 6 and I've yet to top 8. The first one sent to personal gallery has 4 and 199 downloads. The weirdest thing...my last 2 walls were marked for my 'personal gallery only' and went into the main gallery. Go figure. 
I would suggest grabbing a pint of your favorite recreational beverage...or 2 or 3...and keep skinning. Enjoy yourself!

Hey Al, just saw some of your new releases, another suggestion for you, the walls, boots and logons that are Bryce using the default chrome earth object and default earth picture, again as has been said about the vista stuff, time to move onto something new.

true opinions is always crucified Good people think on it and try to improve their works or themself but some just take it in wrong way

They are right, get away from vista. Microsoft already did that and it sucked. I bum out every time I open my lap top.
