Ok so here is my problem. I know it sounds stupid but may be easy to solve. I CANT FIGURE OUT HOW TO REMOVE THE RECYCLE BIN ICON FROM MY FKN DESKTOP! I have tried everything to my knowledge! Im running Windows Media Center 2k5 with windowblinds and objectdock. I want a really clean desktop therefore i would like to remove that pesky recycle bin in order to just have it in my object dock toolbar. A long time ago in Windows XP Pro i was able to do this to remove the recycle bin.
1.Right click taskbar
2.Select Properties
3.Select the Start Menu Tab
4.Select customize (I run the normal start menu. not the ugly one)
5.Select the advanced tab
6.Then in the scroll box there would be a tick box saying something like "Show Recycle Bin on Desktop"
Its not there anymore!! So what other alternatives am i looking at guys to rid myself of it? I'm pretty much open to all suggestions!

>User Configuration->Administrative Template->Desktop->Remove Recycle Bin Icon from Desktop->Double click it and tick Enabled
That way, you could still have icons in your desktop but this time, no more recycle bin. LOL...just another alternative for the ones suggested above. God bless
