Dock Icons .png??

How to install them

Monday, July 30, 2007 by j0nnyr0773n | Discussion: Docks

I'm sure there's a very simple answer to this but couldn't find it anywhere. I am downloading icons I like for ObjectDock and they are .png files. ObjectDock won't let me change .png files for the icons it wants .ico files, do I need to convert them?

How are you trying to change them, ObjectDock does support the use of .png images.

Right-clicking the icon in the dock and then clicking properties and clicking the icon tab. Then I browse to the icon I want. It then says there's no icon found in this entry and gives the path to the file.

Right-clicking the icon in the dock and then clicking properties and clicking the icon tab.

That is not the proper way: Right click icon on dock, select Dock Entry Properties, then click change image button: If you have ObjectDock 1.9 and have images in C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\ObjectDock Library\Images, select ObjectDock Library-Images in Menu tree on left and then just select image you want.
