People complaining about technology... Right or wrong?
Saturday, July 28, 2007 by Zellio | Discussion: Industry
So we see lots of people complain about technology nowadays.
Oh noes! The 8800's cost $600! Oh noes! Quad cores! My pentium 4 is still strong!
To a certain degree they have a point, as technology does move too fast.
But, technology isn't just about gaming, or having the latest thing. We use technology to fight diseases, study in school, all sorts of things.
If technology was to stop so that the complainers would be able to use their dated tech forever, what would happen to us?
It's like me going and saying 'I can't afford a PS3! Technology needs to stop so I can use my PS1 in peace!'
Or: 'I can't afford a house? We need to go back to when we lived in caves!'
I mean WTF?
I will admit though, it would be nice to live in a Deus Ex 2 society where technology is free...
So, are the whiners just whining, or do they have a point?

We all are entitled to our opioion, even if it only applies to us. As far as having a point, don't think opinions have to have one.
Technology is used everyday to help make our life better. Unfortunately most of those uses don't ever make it to print or get buried on the internet. Apply's next best handheld whatever thought get's more press then it deserves. IMHO that's why most people complian about technology and it's published advances.
Have a great day.

Are firearms bad or is the problem the people that use them?
It's not technology that's good or bad it's the people that use it. How people use it is what matters.
