free sidebar?

I've tried google sidebar thing, and i'ts a bit crap. Does anyone know of a good sidebar that -
1. Looks a bit like the vista one (not so important)
2. Uses some sort of 'standard' gadget/widget available from the net
3. Has the ability to add shortcuts to programs
4. Is free - most important!

You might want to give Desktop Sidebar a try also, free, alot of skins, (Vista and nonVista) a library of plugins and alot of matches for WB's that are loaded here.
