Crash Windows Vista by Pressing Just 2 Keys

Windows Vista can be completely killed by pressing a simple combination of just two keys. All you need to crush Microsoft's latest operating system and put the much-applauded Wow at an end is two fingers. The immediate question which comes to mind is if the problem is a security vulnerability or a simple bug.
Either way, you too can watch Windows Vista die in front of your eyes. To make matters worse, the key combination is one of the most utilized keyboard shortcuts in Windows. Pressing the Windows key together with "E" will start 'Computer' in Windows Vista. Keeping the two keys pressed will open a large volume of Computer windows. Want to crush Windows Vista? Nothing could be simpler. Just keep the two keys pressed for more than 20 – 30 seconds.
In its present form, the bug seems to create nothing more than a Denial of Service condition. It remains to be seen if it can be exploited remotely or if it permits code execution.

Sounds like user error to me. It takes just 5 seconds holding down the power button to do the same thing.

Im trying.. 
This open my computer window very fast on multiple..
Before im open taskmanager, when press 2 key, wait little and close all window.
No crash my vista, but if any member press accident just the power button help.

What a complete waste of system resources and drive storage this article is.
That will crash XP as well.. get a life and come back when you have something usefull to offer.

i don't need a key combination to crash my computer, just one lost life in my favourite game and it goes out the window with a resounding crash

The people of Texas here got a much better way of doing it!
Just take the computer out back and use the ole trusty 12 gauge shotgun to put the it out of it's misery. Then you just pitch what is left into the local dumpster for trash.
It is truly sad though to see we are always finding ways to get rid of the things we use the most and spend a lot of money for also. Seems I rarely shoot any of my computers here and as much as I would like too! I've never tried it - yet!!!
So I do not think I'll be trying the key suicide thing anytime here soon. But it sounds like a good option to using a shotgun or my favorite gasoline and a match... There is even the ole favorite of laying it out on the railroad tracks and come back the next day to see what was left after the train has passed. But it just seems to vanish and one might figure the computer was stolen instead of destroyed???
But for those that care - I'd just besure not to be holding down any keys for too long and be good to your system. Also there is a way I believe to deactivate that set of keys or for that matter any other set of keys from doing much of anything. But you might need that - so ...

yeah. i know someone who wrote a program, that, on execution, opens an infinitely large file and writes an infinite amount of 0s and 1s until the computer runs out of memory and crashes. the usefulness? threatening to send it to someone. (and comp. suicide)

I can happily admit the same. I own four XP licences, but am only using two, one fake and one real. If he boldly states so, it might make him less likely to not have forked over the dough for one even if its not the one he's using.
I believe in paying for software and advise my clients to do so, but by permitting problems with xp or vista installs or reliable (dare I say bulletproof) access to data which windows itself has backup up (I refer to the transfer files and settings wizard), Microsoft has forced many of its users to use pirated versions of windows, thus paying 110 - 120% of the proper purchase price of windows, for the right to use the OS which the first 100% should have allowed them the use of.
