I get the same thing. Anyone have a fix for this?
I am on Vista too.

This is what I had to do:
1. Right click objectdock.exe, choose compatibility tab then check 'run as administrator.' This stops systats from crashing the dock.
2. For some some reason default.png was showing under the docklets so I renamed it 'default.bak.' When the systats docklet is created now, it's invisible but I can still right click on it and load the config.
3. Vista then wouldn't run objectdock as a startup program so I disabled the startup entry and created a task in task scheduler to run objectdock at logon and choosing the option to run it with the highest privileges.

Works fine now but would appreciate it if anyone had any better ideas.

Beta 1.9 resolved this issue for me.

The only Sysstats problem now is that OD+ draws "\Stardock\ObjectDock\default.png" on the bottom layer of every Sysstats docklet. If the file is renamed, that goes away but Sysstats doesn't draw it's blue ? and the docklet is blank until loaded with a Sysstat item. This behaviour is with 32bit Vista - UAC on or off. XP sp2 is fine.

After I ran OD as administrator and got the sysstats docklet up, I found that I could revert to running it as a normal user again with no ill effects.

Using OD+ on Vista business ed.

Ferrix beat me to the answer. It is currently a matter of admin rights. Systats isn't actually a product of Stardock so in some cases it means matching updates to updates. Which Systats docklet are you running when all this happens?
