Add Save Option To A WindowBlinds File In Windows XP

Fix .WBA Download Glitch

Sunday, June 24, 2007 by its_someone_in_particular | Discussion: WindowBlinds Tutorials

Ever Notice That When You Download A WindowBlinds File From Wincustomize In Internet Explorer, It Automaticly Opens, without asking to save it? Well here is how to fix that: Goto Start>My Documents Then Goto Tools>Folder Options. On the File Types Tab, scroll down and find wba Click Advanced, Then Check the box next to "Confirm Open After Download" Hit Ok. Next Time You Download A .WBA(windowblinds skin) file, it will ask you if you want to save it somewhere.   Hope It Helps

I use FireFox and have set my download options to always ask where to save every file. Not only can I then choose where to save it but it helps stops unexpected & unwanted download attempts when clicking on a link. Also under file types select manage & choose to save to disk rather than play with a chosen player.
