"Themes.ini missing"

Saturday, June 23, 2007 by sophiesboy | Discussion: SkinStudio Help

A quick question for those who are more technically inclined than I.

On occasion I will find a Visual Style over at deviantArt that I really like.  In the past I would download the style and convert to WB format using SkinStudio.

Lately however, I have noticed that most styles will not convert, and the error message "themes.ini missing" will pop up.

I assume that this has something to do with the fact that lots of skinners are making styles for Vista.

The question: is there any way to take one of these styles and cionvert it to a useable WB file for those of us still using XP? Is the "themes.ini" file available some other way and can it be incorporated into a visual style conversion?

Current version of SkinStudio will not convert Vista visual styles. I believe version 6 will when it is ready.
