DeskScapes is an enhancement to Windows DreamScene, and that will only work with Vista Ultimate.

I wouldn't count on it, or even have a small glimmering light of hope tucked somewhere inside of you - but I suppose it could happen... someday...

I think it is unfair that we Premium users cannot have scenes of dreams on our unworthy desktops

i wonder when justice will be served?

Was there any claim by MS that Premium users would have dreams ? I think not. Taking the car example again, I can't buy a car with let's say a 100 PS engine and expect the maufacture to update it to 150 PS for free later on...

C242 has a point. It was never advertised that any thing but ultimate would have dreams. You cant complain that premium does not have it because you knew what you were buying, something that does not have dreams. It would be like me complaining that laptop does not have a intel duo processor, when i knew it only had a pentium M when i bought it. I get what i bought.

It's like when the wealthy break the law and can buy their way out of sing-sing with the aid of a fancy pants smart talking lawyer who has some secret dirt on the judge...while the poor guy with only two cents to scratch his arse with goes to jail cos he didn't have the cash to corrupt or bribe the system. Likewise, there is no justice if you're so poor you can only afford Vista Home Ultimate and no promised extras, rather than the Ultimate package which promises more extras because they're included in the overall price. Yer gits wot yer pay for.

However, if you still want dreams, apart from forking out the extra readies for Vista Ultimate, a couple of sleeping tablets and some well chosen horror movies usually does the trick.

Unfair? It would be more unfair if you did get Dreamscene, considering Ultimate users paid a significantly higher price for our version! Especially since Dreamscene is one of the few additional features in ultimate.

Maybe in the next version of Windows, it will be available to all users.

Personally I don't see what al the hubub is about. Premium works good and dreamscenes is icing not needed. Who cares, not I 'cause ultimate isn't. Don't need xtras I'm not gonna use. Although I got Premium In still like my XP. Best of both worlds. If I want dreams I close my eyes. Not to say they aren't good. You gots to know your stuff to do 'em but...to each his or her own. But yeah MS sucks for stuff like that.
