It's a Promotion Bonanza!
Masters, Journeymen, Master Apprentices!
Friday, June 8, 2007 by Zoomba | Discussion: WinCustomize News
This week, the moderation team and site staff put their heads together to talk about user promotions and what names leaped out of people's heads as possible contenders. So today, after several days of discussion, I'm pleased to announce the following user promotions:
Master
For his numerous contributions to the skinning world, from msstyles to WindowBlinds skins, as well as his effort to organize other skinners into a new skinning studio (MaxStyles), I'm pleased to promote vStyler to the ranks of WinCustomize Masters! I look forward to many great skins and suites from vStyler in the coming months, both premium and free to the community. And I'm sure he won't disappoint
Journeyman
In addition to our Master promotions this month, we wanted to take some time to think about who would fit well on the Journeyman roster. Almost immediately two names were brought up and received enthusiastic nods of approval from the team. These individuals have proven themselves outstanding members of the community both in attitude and in contributions to the site. The quality of their work is consistent and generally well-received. One of the rewards of this rank is that their new submissions are automatically posted to the site without the delay of moderation.

Master Apprentice
Climbing the ranks towards Journeyman and Master are three more skinners who today attained the rank of Master Apprentice. These folks show promising talent that the community has helped to nurture and grow in the past months/years. Hopefully they'll continue to contribute and participate here, working their way up the ranking ladder here at WinCustomize.

WOW - you guys have totally blown me away, talk about making someone's day, how about my last year on this site!!! Overall this has been the most positive online experience I've ever had with any website, I've found a place that I can contribute material to that I enjoy creating for myself and thankfully I've rec'd alot of positive feedback from new users to senior members that enjoy my skins as well for which I'm very appreciative. I'm going to be thinking about this all day (and probably for the next few weeks). I am honored and will do my best to live up to the credit you've given me.
Congrats to vStyler, his promotion to Master is overdue, he's been delivering premium content skins for a very long time, he is definitely an asset to this site, the calibre of his work is inspirational.
Quentin & Basj, I knew it was only a matter of time until you got promoted to Journeyman; you've both been wearing your Master Apprentice titles in a manner that only credits this site and encourages users to get involved in skinning.
Patrick & RaSt, congrats on the promotions as well; I love your stuff and it's great to see you're being recognized for your contributions to the site.
MAN I feel like partying, where's the pizza & chips?!
Congratulations again to all those mentioned and thank you very much to those who were involved in the decision making process!!!!

I have a story, you won’t believe this $h!t.
In a time before time, a little boy goes by the name of Vstyler used to hang around my shop in hope to learn the secret of art. He would quietly hide outside my shop and watch me doing my thing from a tiny hole even the smallest ant could not pass though. Not being able to purchase his own tools due to financial situation, the young blood would create his own imaginary world and pictured himself doing just what I do until he became me.
You see players; I take full credit of his success. He rains on the roses. He nailed it every time and masterpieces after masterpieces.
I told you that you weren’t going to believe it.
Congrat to all!

To my good friend John (vStyler), I can think of no other person more deserving of the title 'Master' than you! Way to go!
