Phantom dock backgrounds
Where could they be?

I had updated to OD 1.9 (free) and then decided I didn't like it, so I restored my 1.5 (free) archive. After I did that I noticed the new backgrounds that came with 1.9 were still listed in the list in the Appearance tab, and this didn't bother me until I decided to clean out the backgrounds I wasn't using. Problem is...I have no idea where these phantom docks are hiding at. 
They aren't in the backgrounds folder, they aren't in the OD Library folder in My Docs (don't know why that's even there, it's completely empty), nothing in local data/application settings.
Here's a shot of my "imaginary" backgrounds (
to GR).
Surely they have to be on the harddrive somewhere...right?

I imagine they are still listed in the cache.
Per Seabass6.7 (but for a different problem)
Give this quick and dirty a Try:
Go to start > run and then copy this into the command line:
%userprofile%\local settings\application data\stardock
It will open a file folder. Delete the ObjectDock one. Be sure to save before doing all of this.
Edit: Canmandecco may very well be right.

ROFL, looks like canmandeco was right, don't know how I missed that. 
There was just so much stuff in there, that one little folder was hidden to me.

Errm, is the Aero Zoomer #3 supposed to look like this? I thought the black part in the middle should fully fit the icons, the background png itself looks nice, but when applied...gah.

Hey Bebi; in 1.5 I think yes it looks like that. For 1.9 it looks as if the contentbuffer code now works on zoomer docks, in 1.5 I don't think it did anything on a zoomer dock.

You would have to edit the image to get rid of the transparency on the screen edge side.

For bottom image edit it like this

Well, it's looking better but still has the weird double-opaque line on the sides and not much spacing for the icons at the ends.

Ok, will need .ini editing: first cut OutsideBorderBottom = 16(not needed as it does nothing on the screen edge side anyway). After edit move dock to top then back to bottom to make redraw with new settings, if still not right decrease setting for BottomHeight until it looks good.

Increase OutsideBorderLeft and OutsideBorderRight, this will move the icons in/dock out, whichever way you wish to look at it.
Again this is just a guess
Anything else will have to wait until tomorrow.
