Resizing a Single Icon?

'Ello.
I downloaded a Firefox object shortcut by kjtoso. It was rather large when i opened.
I went and downloaded an oblivion icon, which was the normal icon size. I would like for my oblivion shortcut to be as large as my firefox object one. is there any way that i can just increase the size of that icon or do i have to get/make an object of some sort to make it that large?

The icon is 46x46. When I open it in IconDeveloper it shows me a 256x256 image of the icon and it looks in really good quality. If I could get it to appear 256x256 on my desktop, that would be great.

Are you using something to display the desktop shortcut icons larger (like IconX, Avedesk, DesktopX maybe?) or just the standard Windows desktop icons? I'm a bit lost on how you're doing this.

I'm not doing anything yet lol. I used IconX to give my .exe file the icon. Now I want to make the icon larger. Much larger.

I haven't used IconX in quite some time. It should apply to all the icons you have on your desktop. IconX: Customize your desktop icons

Thanks for all your suggestions. I've decided that I need to, instead, create an object. This means that I need to find a tutorial, if you know of one it would be a great help to me!

To create an object in DesktopX is straight forward. If you have purchased Object Desktop with DesktopX Builder or DesktopX with Builder separately then all is well. Load up DesktopX Builder. Right click on the tray icon (new object) or from the helper select create new object. Click on the States tab then click on the browse button and navigate to your new icon image. If it is a png file it will load at the exact size of the png file, if it is an ico file it will default to 32 pt size, but is resizable to any size you want. You can also make use of your icon with Object Dock. Just go to the Articles tab on the WC page and do a search for the tutorials you want which contain numerous detailed examples. Have fun!

Thanks. I found a tutorial in the Articles section of the site. Turns out it IS pretty straightforward. But yes, thanks for the help
