.ICO question

Okay, so I'm totally new to this program. Just got it today. Downloadeded a Misc. Icon for Firefox. It came in the .ICO format. Not a clue about what do with it. Thanks for any help you can give

I'm talking about the Stardock Customization programs. Really revolutionary if I do say so. 
And what do I do to make it so that I can actually use the icon?
