Cannot redownload purchased AeroS theme

Says "Link Expired"

Monday, April 30, 2007 by Lotherius | Discussion: Stardock Support General

I bought the Premium Theme "AeroS" when it came out. I've redownloaded it a few times from the link in the original email. I just reinstalled windows last night, and now when I try to download "AeroS", I get an error saying "Link Expired".

So, I went to Stardock Support. I got the email with all my serial numbers & Links - I figured, "Okay, new link, great"... Nope, the current link also gives me "Link Expired"...

What's up?

Never NEEDED to keep a backup.

Thing is, you are SUPPOSED to be able to redownload these. I also had a new link sent, and it is no good either.

I would contact Stardock sales (sales_at_stardock_dot_com)about this.

I might be wrong, but I thought that Premium Suites did not "expire".

In any case, the sales team at Stardock are usually very helpful and might be willing to provide a new link for you.

I would suggest you back the theme up next time you download it.

Don't forget to let them know the link expired.

The one you're getting may be from an 'auto reply' from the support page.

Definitely contact sales, they have aided me several times in the past when I had to ahem, 'clean' my hard drive and thereby lost everything. Most helpful folks.

Premium content links for download are time-limited.

The necessary process is to purchase, download, and save content to your harddrive, and as with any other software, etc...back it up in case of reformat, etc.

Contact Stardock Support re the expired link...for clarification/solution...

Does this mean that I'm out of luck?

Stardock has NEVER time limited downloads on outright purchases before? If this is the case, I will NEVER buy another premium skin.

Also - if this is the case, then when the email from the support site is sent, it shouldn't include an already expired link in a new email.
