objectdockplus keeps closing.

OD+ keeps closing unexpectedly. It just disappears from time to time. I have the latest beta thru SDC. Is this happening to anyone else?

also: if you have a crash report please forward it over to support, with "v1.6 crash log for developer" or something of the like in the subject! If it didn't offer to save one, there's a good chance that you can find it in your ObjectDock's home folder... it'll look something like "ObjectDock Crash Report (4-21-2007 462d937de).zip"

thank you!

I'm having the same problem. It seems to happen sometimes when the computer goes on screensaver. It doesn't bring up anything that it crashed, I just notice it's not there cause I use it a lot. The icon will stay in the system tray but as soon as you point to it, it will disappear.

It may be a conflict with AVG, it scans my entire computer every night and in the morning is usually when I notice Object Dock not opened.

Also, I do have the latest version of Object Dock Plus directly from Stardock Central.

I'm having the same problem. one example of when it unexpectedly goes away is when I right click on something then click on the desktop, it will close the dock every time. I have the latest object dock plus and I'm not getting any error reports. It will just go away like I have auto hide checked...but I don't. The way I get it to come back is to mouse over to the edge where it is docked then it will appear then I right click go to dock settings then close the window and the dock stays on the screen.

This problem seems to happen a lot and needless to say its quite frustrating as I use the dock quite a bit.

I too have been having this problem. I haven't narrowed it down to anything in particular. I have my dock reserving the left edge of my screen....funny thing is that when it quits the edge stays reserved. I OD icon will still be in the tray till I hover over it then the OD icon disappears, and I just go to the start menu and restart it. It's kind of annoying. Any ideas?

OD+ is still crashing. I guess stardock has not address this problem yet?

My ODP keeps disapeering and I tried everything to get it back. Finally I had to delete all mention of the program on my computer via the search function and the program itself via the "program files" folder because the "add and remove programs" via the control panel would not allow me to uninstall the program. Then I re-installed. It seems to be working okay so far but we shall see......

When you post errors or bugs, it's best to note teh version and build you are running, the OS you are using and what you are doin when it crashes/shuts down.

I had the same issue when running full-screen games. Seems OD would crash quietly in the background. I just stuck a little "Restart ObjectDock" icon on my screen where it'd be hidden by my clock...so of course it hasn't happened since.
