I framed my award and posted it on my personal site by the way...I hope this wanton display of the winnings and lack of modesty aren't against club rules. Wouldn't want to be frowned upon.

I used to spend endless hours searching for the right smiley, murex....but then I just uploaded what I had to a photobucket gallery and each time I need one I just open the gallery, copy the url and then come back here, click on the insert image button in the "add a reply" box and paste the url from the photobucket gallery in the url area and post!

Hell, no. In fact, I think everyone who merits an award needs to proudly display it in a screenshot with the work that was sent to the personal gallery and upload it to the screenshot gallery!
That sounds absolutely craptastic and I am looking forward to the crapfest!
*sorry, Fairyy..no secret handshake for you until you have uploaded something so brilliant that they send it to your personal gallery for fear it will overshadow everyone else's work.

Probably the worst wallpaper ever http://fuzzylogic.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=10687&libid=8 So bad it achieved cult status. It was a contest between me and IRB to see who could make the worst Windows wallpaper. The 'powers that be' at the time didn't think the joke was funny and it was consigned to the depths of history.
So, do I get a medal?

Some lens falres might work nice, but I couldn't get em on here without washing out the sun.
Pretty much ALL 'lens flares' do not 'work nice'. They are an affectation of poor camera angle/placement....and a sorry excuse to use Photoshop over MSPaint.
If you can lose the doppler and have the flare only represent an 'event horizon' then fine...but remember space scenes tend to be the most difficult to pull off well...as they are imagination-reliant.
