misc. icons

Hello, I am a first time poster here. I would like help in installing miscellaneous icons. I have the latest Object Desktop which includes Icon Packager. Thanks in advance for any aid provided.

IconPackager uses the .ipthemes from the IconPackager library. Misc Icons are just that...misc standalone icons that you can use to change individual icons or icons on the dock if you use ObjectDock.

I belive a lot of the misc. icons are in PNG format. If you have IconPackager, you should have IconDeveloper which will convert any PNG into icon format.

The PNG format is used in ObjectDock.

Paul Boyer has a tutorial on how to convert the png to ico with IconDeveloper. WWW Link

Yes, but where do you download the icon to and how do you install them? For example what section of Icon Pacager do you install the icon to? Thanks.

You can manually add icons to any given IP package easily enough, and then save or even save as a different theme name...just go to "icons and cursors" on the left and add away! It can be a laborious process, but it works.
