ObjectDock Plus &Vista

The mysterious transparent box

Tuesday, April 3, 2007 by Bandit4edu | Discussion: ObjectDock

ok...the techs bring me a new box with vista installed on it and the first thing I do is transfer my OD+ over to it and start setting it up...then I start noticing a problem...Whenever ObjectDock is on, and no matter where I put it on the screen, there is a transparent box which locates itself in the upper left hand corner of the screen and covers any buttons on any software that I have open, I then cannot use anything hidden underneath this box. The box is transparent, I can see whatever is under it, I just cannot click on it. When I turn OD off, the effect goes away.....any help would be greatly appreciated

Known problem with pre-v1.5 ObjectDock. Have you tried updating to the latest version? Let us know if updating does not solve your problem.

If you'd like also, try v1.6, a recently updated Preview/Beta of the next release with lots of good Vista features! It's available now on Stardock Central
