Customizing a downloaded skin...

Sunday, April 1, 2007 by Greg_DCD | Discussion: OS Customization

OK so I got a skin but I need to change some of the names and icons in the programs and documents part. I managed to do it before but my comp crashed so I lost it all , And I can't remember how I did it...so basically how do I do it?

Sounds like you mean DesktopX, to edit a theme you must be in Builder mode, right click tray icon to select this mode. If it is a theme that can be edited you should then be able to change what you want and save it. I don't use DX much, maybe someone with more specific info will come along.
