DeskTop X Freezeing PC

I have been trouble shooting this prob for the past few days and now certin that DeskTop X is freezeing my pc...This is what happens, I am able to load a theme which will run for sometime, after a while the theme will freeze up, cursor still works tho. I cntrl alt delete and end process for desktop x, which has 0 cpu. I am then at able to use my pc without any theme...Is there something corrupting desktop x? Anybpdy have any ideas why now desktop x is freezeing?
Any help would be appreciated, Thanx
