Ok, so Vista is out.
Can people PLEASE stop capitalizing on the name when doing themes, walls, etc.
It's like nails on a chalkboard seeing people use the word Vista in something when it has absolutely NOTHING to do with Vista at all. It's called Popularity Whoring. It's distasteful, vile, putrid, disgusting and could be considered a felony in several states!!
How about a new category called "This crap has nothing to do with Vista" and put all of this PWWare in there!!!
Somewhere, there's a semi-transparent Turtle rolling over in his grave!

I personally refuse however to compormise my artisic integrity in lieu of higher download counts.

You want inspiration...a long time ago, in DC comics,there existed a world called Bizzaro. It was a square world, people drove cars with square wheels. Almost everything was opposite to our more 'conventional' world. Why not start a trend along those lines. Any takers?

Last Aug. when the the whole vista thing was starting to become a bit manic, I uploaded 2 identical pics/logons on the same day, with slightly different presentation, one plain, Dusk....the other with Vista splathered all over it and called Bridge Vista, to compare which would be the most sought after......
plain downloads = 1150
vista downloads = 519
so much for that theory for me.....
keep 'em plain...surrounded by too may logos already......
to take it one step further.....I have a problem with places being called "Bella Vista"....I have never actually come across one of those places (or houses!) that is a "beautiful sight"...the latest is an industrial estate here......bella vista my ....!

Keep in mind, the real issue at hand is not Vista Skins themselves, but the inappropriate use of the Vista name just to gain popularity.
I've nothing against a GOOD, GENUINE Vista item (although they have been beaten to death).
Imagine if you will, the Brittney & Dolphin Scenario all done up nice and purddy' on a shiny Bryce Orb (of course to match her newly found hairstyle) and naming the entire (ahem) creation something like "Vista Spearsphin", or "Vistney Flipperista".
GAD, the horror of it all....

Hmmmmmm....now if someone came up with a Dreamscene called "Boobies" I actually might be interested. 
But with my luck, they would put in the Vista logo(s) in strategic areas just to make it discreet....
