Ok, so Vista is out.
Can people PLEASE stop capitalizing on the name when doing themes, walls, etc.
It's like nails on a chalkboard seeing people use the word Vista in something when it has absolutely NOTHING to do with Vista at all. It's called Popularity Whoring. It's distasteful, vile, putrid, disgusting and could be considered a felony in several states!!
How about a new category called "This crap has nothing to do with Vista" and put all of this PWWare in there!!!
Somewhere, there's a semi-transparent Turtle rolling over in his grave!

awwe crap, I'll have to rename the skin I am working on just for you Phoon. Was going to call it Vista plus plus. If I change it to Boobies, I'll probably get more downloads. Is that OK with ya Duane?

Well, I went to the Vista Starbucks earlier for a vanilla bean Vista frap. On the way home, I stopped at Vista Speedway for some gasoline. Later today, I'm going to get on the Vista Freeway to go to my brother's so I can fix his Vista computer. After that, I intend on stopping at the Vista Bar & Grill for a Vistaburger and fries. Phoon, I'll buy if you meet me there. Cya then, Vista-buddy.

didn't the same thing happen with XP when everyone was running win98 or win2k,
people like new stuff, vista is new and it's going to have alot of appeal and you're going to have alot of people like myself who create vista themed skins because they like vista.
I hear what you're saying about everything being labeled "vista ______" although I've never actually heard the term "popularity whoring" before.
But if you took away all of the vista themed skins and never allowed the introduction of vista themed skins into the site it's possible that you wouldn't have as many website subscribers/customers, you wouldn't have as much skinning content (if you removed all the vista themed skins) and you would probably get less website traffic which wouldn't be good for the website in general. Great examples of the popular vista theme is Adni's Vista Plus v2 wb theme and iy!n's Vista Final Version wb theme (based on Kol's vista theme). Those wb themes have rec'd tons of downloads which indicates that there is a need/desire for vista themed skins on this site. And including "vista" in the skin title makes it easy to search for.
I like vista and alot of the vista themes on this site - but that's just me and my personal taste. You may not like vista themes or maybe it's that you don't like everything labeled with a "Vista" title, that is your preference and you're choice.

Unclerob...the point of the article is naming something Vista this/that just to garner dl'ds...especially when the skin has little or nothing to do with Vista.
