Is there a Widget for Severe Weather Alerts ?

thats a cool idea.. wonder if there is an RSS feed out there that would have that info. It could sit in the tray, and hide, and when there is an alert, popup a window with the alert, and links to a web site or something.

Agree with RomanDA (Hi David!).

You may go to the Martin's homepage and download the Base Weather DX object: WWW Link

You will see how to add this option to your Weather widget (look at the lines with information about Weather alets).   

As I remember you can extract this data from RSS by tag "swa".

ok i downloaded it and well play with it (But i'm all big toes to this stuff)

I'm very sorry if you faced with any problems.    But I think that it will be much cool if each of us will add some novelties into each created widget. We will study DesktopX together by this way.   

No doubt I can help you with this. But I need have a part of your script which gets the XML file to make the necessary changes in it. Can you post it here? (It takes a few minutes and your widget will show you weather alerts...)
