Internet explorer 7 slow to start?

Does anybody know what would cause internet to start real slow or is that normal? Probably a couple of minutes...Did virus and spyware scan, nothing came up. So maybe that's normal or something else is wrong...Cable connection..

Just the pop up blocker that it comes with..Have Windowblinds,Iconpackager, DesktopX maybe that slows it down a bit...

Are you running any other programs that start with IE, such as an ad or pop-up suppressor?
