PNG file to .ico

Hi guys,
Is it possible to convert PNG file to .ico with Photoshop CS ??? Unless I'm missing somthing, it doesn't seem so.
I find a lot of icons I like, but they're PNG and I can't use them on my desktop
Is there a simple way to do this? Do I have to buy software? I tryed a free one (imagicon 1.8) works easy, but it just crushed the quality 
I only have a 1/2 doz. or so I need converted.

I've been doing the same thing as Bebi. Use Axialis... its amazing :]! It even supports Vista icons

As for PS CS supporting it... I remember an addon that could VIEW .ico's, but I have no idea where that ever went (or what it was called...) sorry.

Thanks, Axialis IconWorkshop worked great, nice looking program, excellent quality, and seems worth the $40 bucks.

You may find RealWorld Icon Editor worth checking out. It has one of the most customizable PNG->ico conversion (any number of formats generated, apply per image sharpening/drop shadows, supports gamma correction during conversion, can remove empty borders and reserve space for shadows, detect background color) ... and that all also in batches.

Wow you just spent $40 on that. Since im poor i found a program that converts from PNG to ICO for free at download.com If anyone else needs it its called Imagicon and I havn't tried it yet so no idea how well it works. Its a small program so it's also good for my crappy dial up internet.

I use AndreasV's Iconifier ...the one Bichur linked to up there.
Does everything I need it to do, and does it well.
Drag an .ico file onto one window, and pull the .png off the other. All in the blink of an eye.
Works in reverse, too!
