When designing your dream for upload to WinCustomize, you must keep the following in mind:

1.  All video and image elements must either be your own work, or you must have the written permission of the original author to reuse their work in some capactiy.  Permission must be included with the upload.

2.  Simple, subtle animations work best.  Anything that flashes and blinks and bounces around too much will be too distracting.  See Sylock Red as an example of how a simple animation can be used to great effect.

3.  Create videos either in MPEG or WMV format.  DreamMaker will convert these files into .Dream files for use with DeskScapes.

A swf file is a Flash Animation is you want to have an animated preview.  When building the flash file, have it load on the first frame, and pause while the flash loads the rest of the way.  This gives users at least a static preview image to start with.
