Noobish question I guess, about skipping to screensaver

Saturday, February 10, 2007 by L1nx | Discussion: Windows XP

Wasn't really sure where to put this, so I put it here I guess. Anyway, I'm currently using Windowblinds with an Encoded skin. It has these 3 little buttons in the corner of every window, and one of them lets you skip to your screensaver automatically. I use this feature a lot, but I've used this skin for a very long time and would like to change it now. I was wondering if anyone knows of another program that would do something similar and let me skip to screensaver whenever I wanted, or if it's possible to add this to other skins or something. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Vista Aero Blue by quentin94 has a screen saver built in to it WWW Link but you need DX3, it is not a WB skin.

Iben’s Screen Saver is a widget WWW Link you need DX to run it.

Here is a link to putting a shortcut right on your desktop WWW Link

if you want i can make that on a gadget and send it by mail.
if it was possible i think yes but ...
A gadget is a widget who no need DX to run it's a exe that you can launch automaticly with windows.
I look for this now and i come back to tell you if it was good or not.

Thanks a lot Chasbo for the link!

no mater it's free.
description(cause if it's too simple it's not fun lol):
gadget who no need dx to run, with base transparent, hibernate shortcut, SCREEN SAVER LOADER (it's not a screensaver), button to open logoff options, and button to open shutdown options. all with simple click (caution with hibernate and you need enable hibernation option on your computer)

There is also a very handy little freeware called SDSSL. It creates a hotspot in one of the corners of your screen to launch your default screensaver.
