It will work. We've just not gotten out a version that does work, because our release staff is all overburdened with releases. I'm sorry. :/
For now, right-click the shortcut to Natural Desktop, go to Properties, click the Commpatibility tab and and select to run the application in compatibility mode for Windows XP (Service Pack 2). That should do it.
