and i think it is possible to faster it like all in firefox(firetune in a new edition in few week perhaps...)

Zubaz bets Stardock will do it with virtual desktops before the year is out (but it may only work in the Vista:Ultimate Platinum Directors cut).

Nevermind......found the tab effect only slooooows down for me when the open window is not maximized.
