Album Art Widget
Have searched and not found what I want.....
Wednesday, January 31, 2007 by jphlips | Discussion: Widget talk
I am trying to get a widget that will display album artwork that is embedded in the tags on my MP3 files. All the widgets I have found for this only read picture files in the folder that the track resides in... I want just a transparent frame that will pop the currently playing song's artwork into it. Track/Album/Artist info would be nice as well.....
Unfortunetely for this poor fool I dont have a clue what to do to get the results I want.
Please help!!!

So I see a several ways to make this:1. You may look at the WinAmp ActiveX object and try to use it in your widget (I can't help you with this because I has no haved time yet to study how it works).
2. Use the WMP ActiveX object but I'm not sure that it can get Album Art from the internet (I know how it get images from music folders and music CD. And I can help you with this.)
3. Use Quick Time ActiveX but as I know only Martin (some examples are on his site) have tried to make something useful with this (I never used it...).
Is there have any sense?
