Navigation Problems

I have a major problem navigating, not just here, tho I have most issues here.
If I click on anything on the top bar and especially the login, my download manager wants to download a html of whatever I clicked on.
You don't even want to know what I have to do to finally log in
Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.
