Desktop X help

hey i was wondering if it is possible disable the F9 and F10 buttons? coz i play games that use them and it always makes me alt+tab out into the desktop to hide/show the desktop and the widgets? if anyone could plz tell me it would be much appreciated.

Right click on any Widget - click on properties - see screen shot below for hot key directions.
