Anybody know if its possible to make it work in one of the other versions?

The program or what it is that runs the live wallpaper, is that so special?

As of right now, DreamScene is part of the Vista Ultimate extras, in which it only works on Vista Ultimate.

The fact is that MS wants you to buy Ultimate so they can make their stockholders more money.  So they are dropping some bonuses.  If they add them to the other versions a benefit is lost.

It might be a simple app . . but it is tied to Ultimate because MS wants it to be.  That's that until we all upgrade.

Windows Ultimate is the way to go anyway IMO, even ignoring Windows DreamScene.

You get the benefits of the corporate version plus Media Center.
