A little help please

Sunday, January 21, 2007 by tawoods | Discussion: WinCustomize Site Issues

I am trying to find a members (Navigatsio's email) address and I cannot find my way by navigating the site once I got to his personal page to find it (is this information available???)...any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Thanks Hankers, I have an email addy but it must be old and I didn't know if that kind of information is available with the new site (it seems I remember being able to get that information before).

The info is not always available on personal sites.

However, if you find a post/reply by someone you want to email, click their name and choose 'email' - it will be sent to them via Stardock.

I have tried that with 3 different people in the last few days and it doesn't work. I got an error message each time that said "critical information was missing".

I've always only have goten that error message("critical information was missing"). It's never behaved in any other manner every time I've tried to use that feature.

I dint do nuthin

maybe it has to do with whether an email is set up in the user profile? (hidden or not)

Poor Bichur - I just sent a test email to him too ( Before I read your post ) The reason I did was that mail feature never worked for me on the old site , not sure if it was the FF version I was using at the time , but it worked now (cool)

At the time when I was trying to get that feature to work it was because Andrew had told me to click on his name to send him an email reply and clicking on it did nothing ..never had and response at all.

I sent him a test one and he replied to me very quickly. As far as the emails go it must be dependent on the individuals "status, rank, level..." something other than just having a nickname. One day I will get up the courage to email Fuzzy, but not today

I sent myself one...figured nobody else would want it.

But it does work great!
