Stupid Question regarding tutorials

I know this has been answered before, but going through past posts I'm unable to locate it.
Essentially, I'm just looking for where general/basic tutorials would be. I know the specific customization and paths are up to me, however looking through the myriad of information within these forums - I was hoping someone could point out where the basic tutorials are located.
Tablet - check.
PS and corel - check.
Skin Studio - check.
Lots of time and desire - check.
Now I'm just looking for the things that are the "don't forget to" and "you'll want to remember to do this so it doesn't eat your face" type information.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
