theme location

Is it possible to have windows load a theme from outside of the windows\resources\themes directory? I would like to be able to store them on a network drive and have computers access them, instead of multiple copies. Whenever I load a theme from outside the themes directory, windows xp doesn't load it after reseting the computer (it defaults to classic view instead).

Sorry for the confusion. I am talking about windows xp's own themes.
