Total beginner needs help? =)

Hi guys, Im 90% new at this. I can make pictures and stuff I can use for making OS skins but I just dont know how. If there is a post explaining this would someone be kind enough to show me to it? I cant find a thing. Sorry, its just im horrible at navigating through forums.

I'm new too and already have images for smx and rainlendar. Question is how to put fonts on buttons and a brief explanation on ini files. PLZ help! Also if possible tell me the difference between text margins and bitmap margins. Any body??

If you look in the Library from where you downloaded your skin in the section called Gallery Description you will find your answer. For example, if you were in the WindowBlinds Library you would see a button in that top section marked WindowBlinds Website which, if you clicked it, would take you here: WWW Link
You could then elect to Buy WindowBlinds or just Try It free for 60 days. That should get you started.

depending on the skins you are referring to - you might need Skin Studio

got no idea on smx - but I swear I say a 'how to' for skins at the rainy site before

if the skin you refer to is a Windowblinds skin - you need Windowblinds the program installed. the skin should then download as a xxxxx.wba which you can just double click to install
