Time_Date widgets suddenly blank for some people

I really don't know what the problem is...
I have always included a simple Time_Date Widget in the zip with the weather widgets I uploaded and I always send them out to be tested before uploading. Just this week someone left message on the " Deck The Halls " Time Date Widget that the display was blank.
This was the first time anyone had this problem to my knowledge. I left them directions to import / export the widget ( usually fixed missing clock hands ) Also, I left directions to clear that one widgets cache - long story short, clearing cache worked for them and fixed all 3 they were having trouble with.
Now - I have a weather widget that has a time_date widget in zip called " Holiday Cheer " thats still in mod que - 2 moderators have said the time_date was blank..I havent heard back from them if clearing cache worked yet - but what is causing this suddenly ?
I know clearing cache is simple but is it something I'm not doing or has something updated to cause this change ?

Neither time or date fuzzy ? Just blank background ?
Thanks Fuzzy - but I still don't know why it works for some but not others. I sent this to jazzymjr last night and it was fine...this is frustrating ..im not sure where the problem is at this point. I haven't updated desktopx is awhile because everything was working well and I don't like to mess with anything thats functions ok..
anyone else have any ideas ?

I had originally thought that neither the Time or the Date were showing but this is what Snidley Whiplash had written:
Snidley whiplash: fairyy, i just downloaded and ran both of those widgets. the weather widget works as advertised but i can not get the time and date widget to show the time. the date toggles as expected, tho. another mod commented that he could not get the time to show, also. btw, i like these widgets. they look very nice. the call is yours. do you want to try to upload them again?
So its just the Text mode clock that isn't functioning in this case.
Should I be sending the clock dll in the zip ?
