Stardock Central

Sunday, December 3, 2006 by brieaux | Discussion: Object Desktop

Since the latest Stardock Central update v2.38.432 build 139 I have a problem with connection due to my Trend-Micro PC-cillin 2006. It want's me to allow at least 6 connections before I can use SC & then once I get in it want's about 6 more for each thing I click on. I have went into PC-cillin and added all Stardock programs on my exceptions list and it still happens. I've used OD SC for the past 4 years and PC-cillin forever with no problem until now. As I type this i've had to click allow @ least 10 x's. Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone know how I can fix it.
Thanks so much.

I'm running the same build and TM2006 - haven't had an issue yet - I have Stardock Central checked in the exceiptions list

reply via SDC test - no issues with TM - neither enter button works though

I don't really want to reinstall but maybe I should unistall OD, run CCleaner & reinstall OD. Any thoughts?

is it using functions like browser, discussion, chat, etc that's causing the TM windows or running apps via SDC?

When I click the SC icon to open it I get 6 allows. Then when I click on Discussion I get alot more and the same for each thing. Even to check this inside the discussion area i have to do it over and over even though I've already done it & been on this page. It's been this way since the last SC update. I do archive so maybe I can go back to the previous SC as I had no problems with it. Ugh 7 x's while typing this

I have used Trend Micro for years and never had that kind of problem.  Usually I allow the requests and I don't see them until there is an updated build.

Yeah, me too I love TM. I've never had a problem with either of them ever before. My TM is good until Jan 1 maybe I'll install my PC-cillin 2007 beta or upgrade now
