( I made a shortcut long ago but I have seen the other fixes written in forum so I presume those are the quickest or easier fixes for no Sys tray icons now.
1-Open C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
Add a shortcut to sdmcp.exe there.
2-Under tools is SDC you can check off to enable MCP smartstartup.
3- download the mcp.exe here
