Here we go folks, the brisk march to the end of the 2006 GUI Champs is underway! After some delay to judging, we are ready to reveal the winners of this year's Best Overall Wallpaper event. These winners were selected from the 10 finalists as picked by user voting a few weeks back. These represent some of the best walls in this year's competition. This event accounts for $350 of the total potential prize pool.
The big winner in this event is JJ Ying, with the #2 and #4 place wallpapers! Congrats to all of our winners!

I'm very sorry, the original medal ordering was in fact wrong. I didn't get much sleep last night and reversed two of the entries in the table (and later when I wrote the text).
The correct medal order is:
1st: Africa by evilhomer
2nd: Azenis 2 by JJ Ying
3rd: GreenBush by augustleo
4th: Edisso by JJ Ying.

Africa is obviously not a photoshop filter creation though. I think that's what Cyberworld was refering to
